Project: The Children's War

The Project:
The Children's War is a feature documentary about the effects on children in northern Uganda from the atrocities of Joseph Kony's LRA (Lords Resistance Army).  The documentary casts light on the Night Walkers, the children who commuted many miles back and forth daily to Gulu City to sleep safely and not fear abduction by the LRA if they stayed at their homes.  The DVD release of the film also included the short documentary film Rakai, which shows a small school in northern Uganda and the hopefulness of the young students.

My Role:
For The Children's War I was brought in toward the end of the project to provide additional sound design across the length of the film.  I also participated a mixing session at Souncrafter studios with Tom Hammond.

For the short film Rakai, I handled all sound editing, sound design, mixing, and recording clean-up.
