Project: EverClicker

The Game:
EverClicker is a mobile and PC  'clicker' game from Kingsisle Entertainment. You tap to destroy enemies and travel through unique worlds while awakening powerful heroes, unlocking magical spells, looting rare items and more from the mysterious world of the EverVerse.

The Music:
I composed and produced the soundtrack for EverClicker. Each world's artistic theme was quite distinct (e.g. spaghetti western, haunted mansion, moon base, tribal swamp, underwater). I was often jumping genres musically, too, but still wanted to somehow keep a common musical thread between tracks.  Talking with the team, we arrived at the solution of giving each track some degree of an "outlaw" folk feel - often through acoustic guitar or fiddle. This feel represented the outlaw spirit of EverClicker's band of heroes and helped tie everything together.  The soundtrack features quite an assortment of live-performed instruments: guitars, fiddle, mandolin, banjo, trumpet, flute, melodica, trombone, harmonica, and various percussion.

The Sound:
I also served as the primary sound designer for EverClicker.  This included coordinating with other departments and developing strategies for how the sound team would approach sound design and implementation for the game's systems, as well as creating the sounds for much of the content.  EverClicker uses the Unity game engine.
