The Game:
The Outer Worlds 2, still in development, is a sequel to Obsidian Entertainment's 2019 action RPG.
My Role:
The Obsidian audio team needed extra help during one stretch of the new game's development. I supported this milestone for 3 months as a full-time outside contractor.
My Responsibilities included sound design and implementation for a new enemy creature, ambient sounds for many environments, and combing through Unreal and Wwise data migrated from the original game to solve implementation issues. I met daily with the audio team and collaborated with Obsidian employees across various departments.
