The Game:Concord was a PvP team-based shooter for PS5 and PC. Not many people played it, but it was a beautiful, smooth, and fun shooter that sounded amazing. Concord may be re-released in the future, we'll see.
My Role:I worked for the first-party Sony studio Firewalk Studios as a Senior Sound Designer for 2.5 years on Concord before the game launched, and am still working there. My Responsibilities included sound design and implementation for all UI elements in the game, as well as sound and implementation of the more abstract aspect of in-game information sounds, such as zone capture, win/loss events, round start, timers, scoring, and pickups. I also fixed audio issues across all aspects of the game's audio, helped with troubleshooting and mixing, and assisted in some map ambient sound work. I specialized in sound work that required both sound design skills and Unreal blueprint skills.
