Project: Fantasy Strike

The Game:
Fantasy Strike is a deceptively simple fighting game for everyone.  Developed by David Sirlin, a former Street Fighter developer, Fantasy Strike ditches the complicated input combos of traditional fighting games while keeping the strategic depth.

We are currently in pre-alpha and available on Steam early access.  The full early-2019 release will be on PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

The Audio:
Along with composing music for the game's in-game store and many cut-scenes, I also handle all the sound design for this ambitious project.  Each fighter has a full range of sounds specific to their moves, and the real challenge comes in supporting the split-second gameplay through clear and informative sound design.

We also recently cast, recorded, directed, and implemented complete voice-over for the game.  This includes the fighting exertions and special moves as well as fully voiced dialog during all cut-scenes.  The actors were recorded with remote live direction so we could cast exactly the right voices from around the globe.

Fantasy Strike is made using the Unity game engine.
